Filter a graph which displays a sum amount between two dates

Hi everybody,

 

I have an total of hours that are spread between two dates, e.g :

 

ServiceActivityStart dateEnd dateTime spend (hours)
ARead01/01/202031/12/20201
BWrite15/01/202015/06/20203
AWrite01/06/202031/12/20204

 

First, I wanted a graph, showing the repartition of the hours over the year.

I managed at creating a date table, and for each date I calculated the total of hours spent, following this procedure.

That gave me a graph, with date on the X-axis, and the number of hours on the Y-axis.

I can easily manipulate my X-avis with a time slicer, that allow me to focus on a precise period of time.

 

The point is : I cannot filter my graph by Service or by Activity.

How could I manage to do that?

According to your description , I’m a little confused with the ”date” your mentioned. Sample data and expected output would help tremendously.

Here is a sample I made. Hope it can help you a little bit:
