Hi,
I have an area chart on my layout that has many data points. I want to be able to select one data point and have other charts on the layout be filtered to display their data relative to the selection in the Area Chart. I can do this when I utilize other chart types but for some reason I cannot get the requisite action when the chart is an Area Chart type.
Is this possible?
Thank you.
Hi @davidson929,
Could you please mark the proper answer if it's convenient for you? That will be a help to others.
Best Regards!

Hi @davidson929,
Area charts don't crossfilter other charts by now. Maybe you could submit an idea here: ideas.powerbi.com
The paragraph below is cited from official document: basic-area-chart
"To select an area, click inside that area or along the top line. Basic area charts do not cross-filter the other visualizations on the report page. However, area charts are a target for cross-filtering triggered by other visualizations on the report page."
Best Regards!
Dale
