Hi all,

I want to have the level of restriction of each country (like is shown in the picture 1 ) but at same time be able to distinguish which of those countries have their restriction status recently changed.

Does any one know how I can do it?

I think it would be nice to be able to add Icons in top of the filled map like in picture 2, with the sun icons (supposing in this case that us, russia, etc have new info) , but I havent been able to do it in power bi...

Thanks a lot for your help

Hi @RSalinas

ah, that bit wasn't in your original question.  You can't do that with the Filled Map.  None of the maps support everything you need here.

You could use a card over the top of the map but it really doesn't work very well.  As soon as you scale or move the map it breaks.

You could use Tooltips but that requires you to mouse over the country.

Hi @RSalinas ,

Please check if the custom visual - Icon map could meet your requirements. The Icon Map allows you to display your geographical data on a map with icons or images representing each point.

You can check more detials here: Power BI Custom Visuals - Icon Map (pragmaticworks.com).

Like this?  I haven't recreated all your data exactly as you had it but my example file should show you what you need to do.
