Files in folder

Hi,

I wonder if anybody can help me. Im import data from an folder with 19 files this are same but one for each month. But some how the power bi make like year 2018 to double sales figures and I cant find out why. how to get data from an folder ?

When I do this some way I got some months (files) double and I cant find why.

Based on my test, I hid two rows in one of my excel files. However, the two hidden ones were still imported into desktop.

 

So could you please check whether any rows are hidden in your tables or not. If the issue still occurs, please share the problem files here.

Hi @larsh69,

 @Anonymous suggestion should solve your issue.

But if you have different types of files and need to combine them, check out this blog.

Based on my test, I imported 19 excel files from one folder successfully by the following steps:

1. Get data -> Folder -> enter the folder path - > load
2. Edit queries -> click the icon on the right side of Content column and choose the sheet we need to combine files.

After that, we can get the table that we need:

Could you please tell me what is the type of your file and how you expand the data from all the files?
