Field properties advanced missing --> DirectQuery to Live connection

Hello,

Small question, but I can't get it figured out.

In my field properies, I'm missing the advanved options. See screenshot below.

Anyone can tell me how to enable it?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Currently when you change the connection mode from Live connection to Direct Query, the storage mode would not appear in the Properties tab. You can only find the storage mode in the bottom right corner of power bi desktop and could not change it after switching the connection mode.

Thanks for your reply.

So I have to redo my report. That's quite unfortunate.

I created a report from a composite model, but this gave a lot of issues. So, I deleted the imported data.

For the remaining tables I would like to make a Live connection once again. Because of the composite model, it is turned to Directquery.

Hoping this was possible in the field editor. So how to accomplish this?
