Does anyone know how to create feedback loops in a a sankey diagram?

Example:

go to the settings of the Sankey visual and enable loops.

my personal favorite is Sankey Diagram (csaladen.es)  - they have the best rendering in my opinion.

HI @Heuver,

AFAIK, the current power bi sankey visual seems not able to achieve the effect as you shared. Perhaps you can submit an idea for this requirement or try to use script-based visuals(e.g. R, Python) to manually plot your graphs.

I've been studiing the Panta Rhei package for R aswell. But i first want to make an attempt in Power BI

my personal favorite is Sankey Diagram (csaladen.es)  - they have the best rendering in my opinion.

Thank you. This is pretty good indeed, but as soon as include loops the Sankey diagram gets pretty soon real messy. In the end i-am hoping to to be able to make much more complicated sankey diagrams. I don't think this will be a solution in the end.

Thank you for your help!

I'm making my first steps in Power BI (fun!)

Why is the feedback flow overrlapping the B to C flow? Is there a way to keep them separate?

         B1 (90) ==> C (90)

/

A (100)

\

      B2(10) ==> A (10) (loop)

you can drag the categories around for a better view.  Note that the renderer may put them back when you modify the fields.

Thank you for your reply!

I can drag all categories around except for the loop!!!
