FYLTD Issue

Hi All,

 

In my calander table i hv year starts from 2000 to 2051 and i have future data in 2019 2025 as well but i want to calculate fisical year starts from nov-oct so i calclulated ytd but finding diffuculty in getting values of last year Ytd. 

Kindly revert with your soultion

Hi @Anonymous,

 

There could be two methods.

1. Use a measure like below.

LastYear =
CALCULATE (
    SUM ( FactSales[SalesQuantity] ),
    PREVIOUSYEAR ( 'DimDate'[Datekey], "10-31" )
)

fiscal1

2. Use the fiscal year as the [Year] column.

Table 6 =
ADDCOLUMNS (
    CALENDAR ( DATE ( 2006, 1, 1 ), DATE ( 2010, 12, 31 ) ),
    "FiscalYear", IF ( MONTH ( [Date] ) >= 11, YEAR ( [Date] ), YEAR ( [Date] ) - 1 )
)

fiscal2

Hi 

 

I have fiscal year coulum ,month&quater in data base seems i need to restrict future in 2025&2019 might this creats the issue for LYTD
