Hello,
We are using the PowerBI FHIR Connector. When getting data from our FHIR server, it retrieves data in extensions to Resources as we would expect. However, we cannot seem to access data that is stored in extensions on primitive data types. For example:
{
"resourceType": "Location",
"id": "10300002",
"extension": [
{
"url": "https://example.com/fhir/StructureDefinition/organizational-context",
"valueString": "EXTERNAL"
}
],
"name": "location",
"_name": {
"extension": [
{
"url": "http://hl7.org/fhir/StructureDefinition/translation",
"extension": [
{
"url": "lang",
"valueCode": "en-CA"
},
{
"url": "content",
"valueString": "location"
}
]
},
{
"url": "http://hl7.org/fhir/StructureDefinition/translation",
"extension": [
{
"url": "lang",
"valueCode": "fr-CA"
},
{
"url": "content",
"valueString": "le location"
}
]
}
]
}
}
The data in Location.extension is pulled in to PowerBI, whereas the data in Location.name.extension is not.
Is this possible using the FHIR Connector? Has anyone had any success with this?
