Extracting data from PowerBI online

Hi everyone,

I currently have a report on PowerBI online that I download manually into Excel and join with other data sources for further analysis. I was wondering if there is a way to automate the process of downloading the data.

Is it possible to write a python extract the data from PowerBI online and load it into another database (say MSSQL).

Thanks

Hi @tobirz ,

Have you tried Analyze in Excel?

With Analyze in Excel, you can bring Power BI datasets into Excel, and then view and interact with them using PivotTables, charts, slicers, and other Excel features.

Start in Power BI with Analyze in Excel - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
