Extract data from XML Files.

Hi guys,

I need your help with extracting data from xml file.

I have read a few post in here but none of them was useful for my issue.

When I click on expand entity, it opens another tons of entities that require to do the same. I repeated this step for 15 times until there was nothing left, and final result looks messed up.

I was expecting the below.

So once it's imported, what would the next step be please?

Thanks!

XML is a (ragged) hierarchy.  Power BI expects flat tables. You need to make compromises. You need to make decisions.  Which of the data in the XML do you need, and what can you ignore?  If you say "I need all the data" then you have to suffer through the fifteenfold expansion/flattening.   Square peg -> round hole.
