I am importing a new source file for a current dashboard. In the Source file, there is a column called Visit and for some reason, Power BI is not recognizing it, even though the previous source had this column. I have attached a screenshot of the error, does anyone have any idea how to circumvent this? Should I remove the Visit column from Changed Type? If so how can I go about that?
Visit Error
Hi @Anonymous ,
According to the error message, you might have some steps that reference the column 'Visit' which has been removed or renamed or any other operation when you modified the query. Please check if there is a step where you renamed, re-ordered columns, changed data types, removed other columns, etc.
As a workaround, you may right click on your query then select Advanced editor. Here you can see the name of columns/object used for each step of your query, find the unfound column name and edit it.
For reference:
Expression.Error: The column '<ColumnTitle>' of the table wasn't found

Edit the code to remove the Visit clause including curly brackets and (i think) the comma.
That should get rid of the error. And allow you to chase any other issues.
Sometimes these errors occur because there is a space in the column header that you import
