Expression Error while loading Access database

Dear All,

I am getting an expression error while loading Access database in which one table has one to many relationship with the other using look up function in Design view of Access. If I use allow multiple values, then the problem occurs.

Under first table, the following message appears:

Expression.Error: The index is outside the bounds of the record.
Details:
Record=
Case_number=1
Customer_F_Name=Claire
Customer_L_Name=Redfiled
Incident_Date=10/07/2019 00:00:00
Incident_Details=something happened
Incident_Resolution=we fixed it
Case_Status=Closed
Index=-1

Under the second table, the following message appears:

Expression.Error: The column 'Assoc_name.Value' of the table wasn't found.
Details:
Assoc_name.Value

Can anyone help here?

Hi @Anonymous ,

For the 1st question, please refer to this case:

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Error-when-loading-tables-with-foreign-keys/td-p/602001

For the second question, I think the column 'Assoc_name.Value'  should have been removed from your data source. So the error occur. You can modify your M code to detele the column in Power query. Or you can refer to the slolution as below.
