Exporting to CSV w/o having to add columns to a table visual

Hello Friends,

I have a table that displays order informaiton from the Orders table. On the same tab, I have a table visual that displays purchased item informaiton from the ShoppingCart table, for each order. The Orders table has a 1:M relationship with the ShoppingCart table. When my cusotmer exports data to CSV from the Order table, they get the order information. They have requested that the export also include item informaiton as well. The only way I seem to be able to do this, is to add the ShoppingCart columns to the Order table visual. Is there a better way? I apprecaite your comments!

Cheers!

Peter

Hi @asbpowerbi
If the goal is just to export to CSV the table, then yes all the columns should be in the visual.

If you want to go to the "self-service" side and give the user the flexibility to analyze the data with Excel check this option:
