Exporting image from Power BI

Hello all,

I have a table that contains an image and when I try to export this table (PBI service) in CSV the image column appears in hexadecimal code.

I don't know if there is a way to either :

- Display the image in the CSV file or replace the image code by a custom text directly in PBI.

- Remove the image column and replace it by another column when I export to CSV.

Any suggestion or idea is much appreciated!

Regards

Hi @Aghiles ,

Please try to use DAX Studio.

Here is how to get the job done in DAX Studio:

  • Open a desired Power BI Desktop model
  • Open DAX Studio
  • Click “PBI / SSDT Model” then select your Power BI model from the list then click “Connect”
  • Run, or press F5, to execute the query
  • Click “Results” tab and make sure you get the expected results
  • Click “Output” from the ribbon and select “File”
  • Run the query
  • Select a folder and enter file name to save the results in TXT or CSV then click “Save”

@Aghiles , As CSV is only for text data you are getting hexcode for the image. Try excel with current data and check if you can get the image.
