I'd say the fair answer would be it depends on your organization. I personally use Power BI all the time because this is required where i work. In terms of performance, there are pros and cons for each tool, but both do the jobs 🙂

Correct, plus Planner is also from Microsoft. so technically it's easier to integrated.
