Export To PDF Not Working

I'm running into an issue where I can't export to PDF a visualization that I've exported the past two weeks. After I click "Export To PDF" the tab closes but no PDF is created. Even after reinstalling Power BI for desktop it's still not working.

Is anyone else experiencing this and are there any solutions to the problem?

Hi, @jz451

Please install the latest version of power bi desktop, this issue has been fixed in the version.

Download Center

Change log for Power BI Desktop:

November 2021 QFE 1

refer:

Export to PDF from Desktop Doesn't Work

There is a newly released November 2021 Power BI Desktop(Version: 2.99.782.0). Issue should be fixed in it.

Hi, @jz451

This works fine for me.
You can check if the file was created successfully by opening the local folder.

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Temp\Power BI Desktop

If it is created successfully but does not open automatically in your browser, check if your browser is blocking the file from opening. Or change the default browser to see if it opens automatically

Also check if you are encountering export Considerations and limitations.

Considerations and limitations

Test:

Version: 2.97.801.0 64-bit (September 2021)

Version: 2.99.621.0 64-bit (November 2021)
