Excluding values from filter display, including in the data

Is there a way to exclude a value from displaying on the actual slicer but INCLUDE it still within the data so that if a different slicer is selected the data will still display? We have an Entity level filter that has entities listed from our system database that are not helpful to view by but we don't want to remove these departments that fall within this entity, just not categorize them by that entity name.
