Hi all
I have a weird problem with the excel export of a table that i never had in any other report before.
Its not reproducable with a sample pbix file, so i hope that anyone just has an answer on what power bi is might doing here.
In the power bi table, the totals are all correct. It shows some contracts with the connected revenue and items that are bound to the contract.
When exporting to excel, the sum for revenue and the items is total messed up, revenue ist like 90% higher than in the report. Similar for the items. I tried displaying the id's from the item (additional to the count) then exporting, removing all duplicates, but this also gives a new incorrect value.
I also tried removing a few columns as this might duplicate some rows, but it doesnt change in excel.
How is Power BI doing it correctly, and what does it do? Any ideas why its not the same in the excel export?
Thanks and sorry for not providing any sample data
Hi, what kind of export are doing? Power Bi will let you export in two different ways:
Summarized data
Underlying data
Maybe you are not going through the option with your objetive. You can check the difference here:

Happy to help!
Hi @ibarrau
Im exporting out of Power BI Desktop. But in Service, exporting summarized gives the same as doing so in Desktop...
Im also thinking of using SUMX, instead of the column itself. Do you think this might work?
How would the formula be for a single column, without any specia calculations
