Error while downloading file to powerbi desktop

hi All,

 

Please help me with below error - i am trying to connect to a folder wiht 4 excel files as data source , but only one file is loaded and getting below error

To resolve the issue you're encountering with loading multiple Excel files, here’s a full approach:

1. **File Structure Consistency**: Ensure all files in the folder have the same structure, meaning they should have the same columns and data types.

2. **File Path**: Verify that the path for each file is correct and accessible by Power BI.

3. **Power Query Steps**: Review the steps you've applied in Power Query. Step through the transformations to see if the error appears after a specific step. If so, that step likely needs correction.

4. **Test Files Individually**: Load each file separately to identify if a specific file is causing the issue.

5. **Column Mappings**: Check for mismatches in key columns or any missing data in the skipped files that may be triggering the OLE DB or ODBC error.
