Error message while load- A connection cannot be made. Ensure that your server is running.

I am using a custom connector to load data in desktop. One There are teo tables- one is straight forward import with 3000 lines another needs some transformation steps and has 40,000 lines approx. When I During the transformation, I filtered the dat with the desired steps and clicked on "close and apply". After showing the load process for few minuted, I got this below erre-

akapoor03_0-1627329972018.png

It doesn't have major transformations like crossjoin, outer join etc. The transformations are just taking data from 1st July, removing unnessary columns etc.

WHat should I do?

@learner03 , It may be issue of connection lost or connection time out.

Increase connection timeout and check

There should an option , when you create connection

Hi @learner03 ,

Have you tried to increase the connection timeout period like what @amitchandak mentioned?

In addition, what your data source? For SQL Server, here are some posts can be referred:

olap cube - A connection cannot be made. Ensure that the server is running - Stack Overflow;

A connection cannot be made; Ensure that the server is running (microsoft.com).

Best Regards,
