Error importing custom theme

I created a custom theme based on one I downloaded from Power BI. All I changed were the color codes and the name. When I go to import, I get "Error importing theme file." Anyone know what's causing that error? Here is my .json:

{
"name":"MyTheme",
"dataColors":["#FFD0000", "#1A1446", "#78E1E", "#037B86", "#343741", "#99E5EA", "#FFE280", "#E6E6E6", "#5BD0B0", "#B2E4FE", "#ECABCC", "#057BE0"],
"background":"#FFFFFF",
"foreground":"#074650",
"tableAccent":"#fe6bd6"
}

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey,

please check the hexcodes for the colors

"#FFD0000" (1st color) and "#78E1E" (3rd color)

The color codes have to be valid hexcodes 6signs (characters and numbers) plus the # sign

Regards,

Tom

Hi,

I'm having a similiar challenge. I've recieved a JSON file that reads as follows but on importing get an error message?

Any thoughts on what is causing the problem?

{
"name": "Eight",
"dataColors": ["#0061A1", "#1C9BCE", "#52BEE7", "#B9E4F5", "#67757E", "#A2ADB4", "#E0E4E", "#8A1D20"],
"background": "#FFFFFF",
"foreground": "#3A6108",
"tableAccent": "#568410"
}

Hi, I'm not sure if you had your question answered on a separate thread but I think you made the same mistake I did. Your color "#E0E4E" is missing a digit.

Hey, using the latest release of Power BI Desktop (Win10 store), I was able to import the theme

Hi @Anonymous,

I also agree with @TomMartens, and by my tests, the error is caused by the two color codes. Please check the first and the third color codes("#FFD0000","#78E1E") and modify it to be the correct format.
