Error connecting Azure Databricks and Power BI Desktop
Hello,
I am new to power BI with a fair idea of what it is and how to use. I have a new assignment where I should create a dashboard with power BI using data on the cluster, in Azure Databricks. To achieve this I followed a tutorial with 3 steps:
- Open partner connect in Azure Databricks
- Click Microsoft Power BI and choose the cluster
- Then I downloaded the connection file
When I click it, I see this error.
"ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][ThriftExtension] (14) Unexpected response from server during a HTTP connection: Could not resolve host for client socket.."
In addition, I tried to do the same but this time working in Power BI and connecting to azure DB, but again the same error!
Nevertheless, I am not in full control of the cluster as it is managed by another team and I have limited privelages. Request your suggestions.
