Error Reading Power bi Model

I have created a model with incremental refresh that has data over 50mil rows with 10-12 columns. I had no problems publishing it and refreshing it on web service of power bi but now I am facing problem that I cant open power bi report model (.pbix) on desktop.

Error says it couldnt read compressed file, I tried to download report model from web service didnt work.

My goal is to get at least access to measure formulas that i created in the model.

There's another way to get to your measure formula by editing the Sementic Model in the PBI Service without downloading the PBIX file. Make sure your Workspace setting is set to enabled as show below.

Hi @User777 ,

Base on your description, it seems that you got the following 2 problems:

1. Got error when open the report in Power BI Desktop

It's possible that the PBIX file you're trying to open is corrupted or incomplete. One solution you can try is to make a copy of the PBIX file and rename the extension to .zip. Then, extract the contents of the zip file and look for any files that have the extension .bin. Delete these files and then rezip the contents of the folder. Finally, rename the extension back to .pbix and try opening the file again in Power BI.

2. It doesn't work when tried to download pbix file from Power BI Service

it is due to hitting the following limation...

Limitations when downloading a semantic model .pbix file
