End user data refresh when using Import approach during data ingestion from Dataverse

for those users who want to see a data change appear in a report immediately, is there a way of manually refreshing from a end user perspective.

Not in import mode, no.  

- Power BI does not support writing into the current semantic model

- End users can submit a semantic model refresh request (for example via a Power Automate visual button and flow),  HOWEVER that is just a request. There is no guarantee whatsoever that the refresh is happening, how long it takes, and if it will be successful.  They whole process is highly asynchronous with no indication whatsoever as to its status (unless you put in extra polling work)

- Even when the semantic model refresh has completed the report user will NOT see the change until they manually refresh the browser page.

This is a horrible UX and not ready for any sort of production process.
