End user data refresh when using Import approach during data ingestion from Dataverse
Hi,
You can allow the end-users to do the refresh themselves either via direct privileges (e.g. adding them to the workspace) or via roles. You can also fetch and display the last refresh date/time.
Hope this helps.

Thanks MNedix
My users only work on Model Driven App in Powerapps.
Power BI Reports is published to a Dashboard inside this.
Would your theory still work if I was to give users access to Workspace?

Your scenario seems to be quite specific so I can't say for sure it will work. You could test it with a colleague/user you can trust from within the company (so you don't breach any security rule and don't screw someting up). Alternatively, you can ask your IT to create another domain user for you (e.g. PowerBI_Test@<company.com>) and test whatever you need without fear of security breaching. If (and only IF) ITSec allows it, as a last resort, you can use your private email but this is a very unsecured option.
I hope this helps.
