Is there a way to enable text search in slicer visuals by default, e.g. via an attribute in a .json theme file?
When you enable text search on a slicer visual the "Reset to default" button on the Visual Formatting pane --> Slicer settings --> Selection becomes active, and clicking it will reset the slicer so that search is no longer enabled. It seems there might be some hidden attribute within the Selection drop down that governs whether search is enabled. Any ideas?
It's now 2024, is this still something we need to request? Is there a request in place we can vote for?
Added this idea for this feature:

I am also requesting samething- I want to beable to set a enable text search in slicer visuals by default via the .json theme file. Has this been resolved?
HI @aweimerskirch,
AFAIK, the current theme file settings are not able to 'activate' or interact with these types of visual effects. Perhaps you can submit an idea for this requirement.
