Hi,
I have some queries or report created on Adobe Analytics.
I'm currently trying to create same query in PowerBI using the Adobe Connector.
Unfortunately I get very often a "silent" error, and at the end my table stay Empty in Power BI, without any error or notice. My query is not complex since first results arrive after little seconds in Analytics, but I suspect the total number of rows returned could be quite large depending on my query scope ( time period covered by the query ).
Is this a known issue ? How can I validate the issue and is there any workaround ?
For large data retrieval should we avoid the use of PowerBI and the connector ? Should I work directly with the API or Datawarehouse export report ?
Thanks
Didier
I've submitted a support ticket on this issue (empty result set without error when API query times out), unfortunately I haven't heard from them in over a month and they don't respond to my emails.
Consider reducing your date range, using "Top" in your Power Query, or converting your Adobe query into a function and passing in chunks of date. I can share a pattern for this.
