I am looking to make a calcuated column or do a simple group for employee size. For example, 1-10 or 11-50. I created a simple group from the employee size column by just seletcing the numbers and putting them in the appropriate group, but for some reason the grouping orders 1000+ first in a filter or legend when 1-10 should be first, instead it is 4th. I was wondering if there was a way to just calculate a grouping in DAX from the employee size column or if there was a way to order the employee groups I already have.
Thanks.

Hi @kjsullivan,
I'd like to suggest you add calculate column to store left/right part of your category, then use it with topn function to get the top 1000 records table.
Sample steps:
1. Add count to store left part of catagory.
Count = VALUE(LEFT([Catagory],FIND("~",[Catagory],,BLANK())-1))
2. Use above column to get top 1000 count.
Top 1000= TOPN(1000,Fact,[Count],ASC)
