Good Morning All,
I have been embedding dashboards in Sharepoint for the Executives in the business who don't have a Power BI license for nearly 6 months now, but when they now click onto the dashboards it is asking them to log into their Power BI Pro account. Please note that nothing has changed on these dashboards apart from the updated data, being fed into them.
Is there anyway that I can resolve this moving forward, or is this a patch that has gone wrong/changed on Microsoft's behalf.
Thanks in advance
Actually if you embed a report in SharePoint Online and share it to other people, those people always need a Power BI Pro or Premium Per User license to read the report, unless the report is located in a Premium workspace. This is by design. You will find the following description from Embed a report web part in SharePoint Online - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Was your workspace that holds the report in a Premium capacity in the past months? Is it currently in Shared capacity?

Hello @v-jingzhang,
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to look into my query. Having just checked my workspace was set to premium per-user previously, but has switched to pro. I don't seem to have the option to put my App to "Premium Capacitiy", do you know why that would be?
Thanks in advance
Premium is an organizational subscription that provides a way to store content in a virtual container called a capacity. You need to turn to the Power BI admin in your organization to confirm if your organization has this subscription. If you do have this subscription, you need to ask the Power BI admin or a Premium capacity admin to allow you to add this workspace to a premium capacity. If your organization doesn't have this subscription, the people who want to read your report embedded in SharePoint Online need to have personal Pro or PPU licenses.
