Email alert or notification based on missing data
is it possible to create email alerts or notifications based on missing data in power bi?
Hi powerbiexpert22 Yes, it is possible; you could try this with Power Automate. Create a measure in Power BI to identify missing data, such as null counts or expected data gaps. Publish the report and set up a data-driven alert for the missing data condition. Use Power Automate to trigger an email notification whenever the alert is activated.

Hello powerbiexpert22 ,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
I’d also like to thank Akash_Varuna for their excellent suggestion to use a DAX measure with Power BI data alerts and Power Automate to address your need for email notifications based on missing data.
For detailed guidance, refer to these official Microsoft resources:- Create data alerts in Power BI: Step-by-step guide to setting up data-driven alerts in Power BI.
