I have an excel date series data just like( many years of data). You can see that each date has multiple rows of reasons and time attributed to it. Is there a way to modify this data so that I can use the date column as slicer to get different visuals for reasons and time, date wise. Instead of manually filling each empty cell in date column since the volume of data is huge.

Hello @Idkpowerbi ,
After importing data into Power BI. In Power Query Editor select date column and under transform option you can see fill down as per below screenshot. If you click on fill down then the empty cells will be filled and then you can use the same column in your slicers.
