Dynamics Online data integration options

Hello!

I need to create a dashboard pulling in data from our Dynamics online instance including Opportunities, Accounts, and Leads entities.  I am able to connect PowerBI Desktop to our Dynamics instance. The issue is that each of the three entities listed above has some 300+ columns, and the second half of the columns are table links. In other words, it is extremely complex.

The issue I'm having is that there is only about thirty columns that I need to build my dashboard. However, a few of the columns I'm looking for are referenced as numbers instead of the actual text options that populate in the Dynamics instance. For instance, sales stage, instead of stating "opportunity ID" says 3.  

Is there an easier way to just pull a report into excel and then upload that into PowerBI Desktop? or can I create a report (or table) in Dynamics and then just push that report (or table) into PowerBI? I need to be able to generate a dashboard that will update on a daily (or weekly) basis based off of new data entered into Dynamics. That is why I want it connected to Dynamics. Otherwise I would just pull the data into excel and use a stagnant file.
