Hi DEAR team!
I have a power bi file containing the semantec model in it and my Power BI dektop is version the latest version. I intend to use the Q&A feature of Power BI desktop in the text box to find dynamic values which are existed in another file on a shared resource. When I enter the value to be calculated in the Add Value box to be able to use Q&A functionality, the text greys out with no suggestions and it doesn't work. However, the same file when I upload to report server and do the exact same steps it simply works very smoothly. There is no issues in regards to Windows language as both my Power BI desktop and the model on the report server use English USA to make sure they match. What would be the best solution?
As a relevant side note, when I start a Power BI desktop fresh and connect to the same data sources both featuers work fine. Moreover, my colleague who is in the same team and has the exact same version never reported such a problem and is using this feature perfectly!

Also, to add here that I already looked it up on the web and tried all the following solutions I got from Copoliot and Gemini to make sure that I don't miss anything here:
1. Language Settings
2. Version Issues
3. Q&A Feature Limitations
4. Check for Filters
5. No live connections in my model and all tables are imported
6. Cleared the local cache completely and restarted fresh
Your help is highly appreciated as I have left with no other choice than to ask for help here!
Thanks
Hi @Anonymous, I have figured something. the report was first created in English language. Then at some point I when my Power BI was installed it was not in English. Although I changed the local for import and Regional languages both to English but I still see my data in another language (I should add that I also have changed Report Server language) and I think this is the main reason of having such a problem. But, to my surprise when this file is presented on report server, it is in English and all the data are shown in English language, but when I open the same file on PBI desktop, it is changing to another language and the Q&A functionality breaks. However, when I open a fresh file in power bi desktop and import all the visuals and tables from that report which has problems with Q&A feature, all the data and Q&A functionality works perfect!!! What could be a solution?
@Ritaf1983 , @lbendlin , @amitchandak or @Ashish_Mathur do you have any suggestions on this? Unfortunately I have tried all the tricks that I know and I could find on this topic as per MS documentation and MS support team @Anonymous has suggested but none worked and no success!
I would appreciate your support very much!

Thank you for your comment @Anonymous , but I mentioned it clearly as my first point back in my original question, that the first thing I have tried was the language settings in my PBI desktop and report server and yet no success. As you are a member of the MS team who is more aware of Power BI evolving, we appreciate if you can provide us with a solution
Thank you again!
Hi @bestmbaman ,
Based on my testing, Q&A function works fine.
It is may be that the language is preventing the function from working. When changing the language in the options, need to restart the Power BI desktop in order to using the feature.
