Dynamic measure by slicer including different variance metrics

Hi all,

I am looking for a way to enable users with 1 button --> PY or Budget, view different totals and variance measures.

Currently i have this histogram which show total budget volume or PY volume data dependent on the slicer (see below).

However besides total volume i would also show a contribution margin and unit margin in the cards i have on top. Is there a way to use 1 slicer and show all budget metrics with budget and if PY selected all PY metrics?

Hi @Emmy88_

You seem to be on the right track. You can add more switch measures betwen different type of emasures like Budget CM and Unit Margin LY. Alternartively, you can make use of field parameters then add a calculated column to the parameter table to categorize each measure in the table. Please see attached sample pbix.

Would you also know how to accomplish the same for multiple dynamic measures in 1 visual. As an example, underneath you see a matrix in which i would like to show dynamicly eather plan or py volume and on top of that the same for plan or py UM, CM.
