Dynamic column Report

Hi Team,

Am new to power BI developement. 

How to prepare dynamic column report based on input columns.

Have developed a small report with months as silcer and deafult am taking last 3 months data in report view but my case is when am select Jan to Aug in slicer it suppose to show Jan to Aug data, if i select Jan to Apr to show Jan to Apr data only. Please help on this issue.

Hi

Add date column into the slicer and select "Between" in the top right corner dropdown.

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

I'm not sure if i understand you correctly. Are you want show last 3 months data if there's only one date selected in the slicer and show selected months data when there are multipul months selected in slicers?

I would recommend using a DimDate table and putting a Date slicer and set the properties to Between or Relative Dates.

How do you have the default settings at the moment? They need to be configured so that they don't conflict with your DimDate table slicers.
