Dynamic String Expression in Tabular Editor in my Calculation group

Hello,   is there a way to make my calculated group change the string format based on the measure I give it (I give quite a few)   some are numbers with a format of "#,0" some are precenta...

    ok, I read the article AND saw the video and read this one as well

    but...

    in the words of Michael Scott "explain it to me as if I were a five year old"

     

    I just don't understand

    I have 3 types. $, %, and #,0

    how will it know when to use what?

     

    do i need to make another table and specify that each mesure should be a different type?

    $

    Measure 2 %

    i can see it recognizes when it needs to be $,#,%

    but im not quite there.

     

    any sugjections?
