Dynamic Runtime parameters possible?

Hi,

If have a table customer_sales and volume such that not practical to pull all customer_sales data in import mode.

Is there a way to allow user at runtime to select a customer number then query will fo to database and just get sales for that customer number.  dont believe direct query with oracle version 11.

Can do similar in other reporting tools - just wondered ways to achieve this in power bi.

Thanks

@po , you can restrict data loaded in Power BI.

But might not be suitable. If you want to do it for performance reason explore aggregation

Thanks for reply.

I'm using parameters for native oracle query in power bi

This works for when use single value.

However when try use list of values - shows red x but not showing error - have you any examples uisng list of parameters for a number e.g customer in (1234,2345) ?
