Dynamic Measure change with prefix change in visual

Hello all,

     I have two selections , one being sales and another being volume. If I select Sales then it should be shown as ₹ 1000 and if the selection is volume then it should show 1 kg in a bar graph .

I have created measure for each sales and volume. I have used the Selectedvalue dax to get it work. Can Anyone please guide me with a method to solve this problem.

    subhashree_r ,The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.
    If you using a slicer to change these values. Formatting can not ve dynamic you have to do inside the measure. That might make it text

      Hi amitchandak 

        You have understood the problem I'am facing . The Type of the measure is being changed to text. 

       Given below is the measure that I have used :

      Sales / Volume selection  = IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Sales / Volume Selection'[Selection ]) = "Sales",SUM(Sales[AMT PRIMARY NET VALUE]),[Volume])

        A bit confused,so you donnt wanna the result turned out to be a text format?What is your expected output?Can you provide some sample data with expected output for testing?
