Dynamic Duration Selection

Hi everyone,

I'm building a Power BI report with contact center data (durations in seconds/milliseconds) including available, on queue, etc. I've created a detail table, but I need some help with customization:

Detail Table Sorting:

  • I want the detail table sorted by Date, Name, Group Name followed by duration metrics (Available, On Queue, Break, Busy, Idle).

Dynamic Duration Selection:

  • I'd like users to be able to select which duration metrics they want to see displayed in the detail table.

Duration Formatting:

  • All displayed durations should be formatted in HH:MM:SS format.

Request:

Any guidance on achieving these functionalities within Power BI would be greatly appreciated.

You an use a field parameter to achieve this "Dynamic Duration Selection".  You can setup a slicer to reference the field parameter and then add the field value to your table then it's dynamic. You can even set one up for the columns you want to group by.
