Dynamic Dimension - but from more than 1 table ?

Hello, I hope you can help

I've created a slicer which provides a choice of dimension, using the following common method :-

1) Creating a bridge table by duplicating the main table then unpivoting the columns

2) Creating a slicer table by duplicating the bridge table,  removing the index & value columns, then removing duplicates.

This works fine, however now I wish include another item in the choice of columns in the slicer, but this item comes from another table linked to the main table ! Is this possible ?

Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently. You can post your new idea in Idea Forum , to improve the Power BI.

It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
