Drop Shadow Custom Preset JSON

Hello,

I need some help. I was able to target the Preset with the Custom dropdown and the transparency but I am unable to target distance, size, blur, and angle. What are the object names so I can target?

Here is my current JSON:

"dropShadow": [
          {
            "show": true,
            "color": {
              "solid": {
                "color": {
                  "expr": {
                    "ThemeDataColor": {
                      "ColorId": 0,
                      "Percent": -0.1
                    }
                  }
                }
              }
            },
            "position": "Outer",
            "preset": "Custom",
            "shadowSize": 15,
            "distance": 0.5,
            "transparency": 70
          }
        ]

Hey @Anonymous ,

maybe this is what you  are looking for:

{\"dropShadow\":[{\"properties\":{\"show\":{\"expr\":{\"Literal\":{\"Value\":\"true\"}}},
\"preset\":{\"expr\":{\"Literal\":{\"Value\":\"'Custom'\"}}},
\"shadowSpread\":{\"expr\":{\"Literal\":{\"Value\":\"11D\"}}},
\"shadowBlur\":{\"expr\":{\"Literal\":{\"Value\":\"24D\"}}},
\"angle\":{\"expr\":{\"Literal\":{\"Value\":\"114D\"}}},
\"transparency\":{\"expr\":{\"Literal\":{\"Value\":\"41D\"}}},
\"shadowDistance\":{\"expr\":{\"Literal\":{\"Value\":\"52D\"}}}}}
]}

To discover these values, I do the following ...

  1. Create a very simple and small pbix (basically, I created this pbix some time ago)
  2. Create a visual using the formatting options I want to track down (I always change an existing default value)
  3. Save and close the pbix
  4. Create a copy of the pbix x
  5. Rename the suffix of the copy to zip
  6. Trackdown the Layout file in the reports folder and track down the visualization options.

Hopefully, this is what you are looking for.

Regards,

Tom
