Drillthrough from one report to another in the same workspace but different models

Hello Everyone!

We recently got requirement from one of our user.

There is a report called Monthly Sales which is connected to Realtime sales model. In the same workspace there is another report called Sales report which is connected to Historical Sales Model. 

The requirement is that when the user is on the Monthly Sales Report, from this report they would like to go to the historical sales report to see the details of a particular division.

As much as I know, although the reports are on the same workspace but we cannot do the cross report drill through because these 2 are connected to different models. 

Is there any other way to achieve this result?

The models haven't been the same when using this feature, but the table and column to drill should be identical.
