Drillthrough Pane filter

Hi,

 

I am using the DrillThrough pane to filter my report results as the end user primarily exports data into an excel, which also includes the filters in the export results. Using a slicer doesn't help in that regard as filters do not get exported in excel.

 

But one limitation I noticed in DrillThrough is that you can only filter on 1 value or all the values. If the user wants to filter on more than 1 and less than all like 2 or 3 values, it is not possible. Just like slicers have settings where you can disable single selection, I did not find anything on DrillThrough filter properties etc.

 

Is there any way to allow multiple selections for attributes in DrillThrough pane? Please advise.

    Anonymous  i'm afraid it is not possible at this time, may be you want to put it as an idea. I guess slicers is the other option you have where you can sync slicers on both the pages and hide the slicer on drill thru page.

      I will put it as an idea as you mentioned.

       

      One of the major requirements is the ability for the end user to filter data in the report in the App and to export results to excel including the filters.

       

      Is there any way to accomplish this using slicers, which would also enable multiple selections.
