Download selected columns

Hi,

I am connecting my power bi to survey monkey with no issues.

is there a way, rather than downloading the entire table, I can select columns to download 

?

    Hi talhaparvaiz 

    Why is this an issue?  Is the query taking a long time?  You may be able to alter the query parameters to ask the Survey Monket API for only the specific data/columns you want.  What does the SM API documentation say?

    But if you can't then once you load the table into Power Query you can choose what columns you want to use but I don't think those selections gets pushed back to Survey Monkey.  Your query will download everything and then discard the columns you don't want.

    talhaparvaiz You can choose columns you wish to import in our powerbi. When you connect to your data from powerbi, in the powerquery window by using below option you can select column you wish to have in powerbi
