It looks like the image shown with the order date and year, quarter, month and day has the time intelligence option turned on for the current file.

Hi,@Abcde_s  .I am glad to help you.
Hello,@aduguid  .thanks for your concern about this issue.Your answer is excellent! And I would like to share some additional solutions below.
According to your description, when you add the date column to the visual, you don't get the calendar form of the field in the same way as in the video correctly: you can't get the year/quarter/month/day dropdown list!
This is a very common problem:
In Power BI, if there is a date or time/date type field in a table, the system automatically displays it as a date table in the visual presentation, as you see in the video!
like this:

Of course, this assumes that the field has a date hierarchy, which is automatically recognized by the system.
So if you are operating without such a calendar structure, you may need to create the date hierarchy manually.

The system will display the field with the hierarchy in the Data area.

Here is a document on how to set up a date sheet. I hope it will be of some help to you

I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

Carson Jian,
