Does the order that values are put in on visualizations matter?

Hello! 

I've been spending hours in the app so getting a little cloudy minded. Does the order of where you put in the values in the vizualizations matter?

The reason I asked is that I pulled in different values and for the life of me could not figure out why two of the values were showing nothing. I ended up just pulling them out for now just to get a clean table of the data I did have. Afterwards I put them back and all the sudden the data is there. Is there any possible reason that this could happen or I did some shadow moves that my tired mind just missed?

Can you provide some detail content of your issue? for example: data source, connect mode, screenshots. It will be help for troubleshooting.
