File B Generate from Syspro Accounting system:-

DEF......................... 4544..............12345...................10/11/2020........3500-------------3
I Llike to beside rename both file same field name.
i like to know for example SEG field for File A is text and File B is whole number. will there be allow to merge these 2 file ?
Hope some one can advise what should i do ? so after merge will not have any side issue.
One more question , it is i should recode File B from number to Text , meaning :-
1 recode to SEMI_CON
2 recode to END USER
3 recode to OEM
Then i perform the merge ?

in this case, you import your data into powerbi. below is table 1. when you import data into powerbi, it will automatically convert few fields based on the data type but you remove that step
this is your first table
this is your second table, rename the column header so they are same as in the table1
then you can select both tables, and chose option to append queries as new
