Divide values in matrix visualization by the total of the other matrix

Hi,

I have two matrix visualization which I want to divide each value from the first one by the total from the scoend one, so I do't want to group the values in the second matrix by 30,60 ,90, I want them to be exatly the same as the total  for each score class (which is the unique number of cases which I want to divide by), can anyone help on that? thanks

This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See my post about it here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/DAX-Commands-and-Tips/Dealing-with-Measure-Totals/td-p/63376

Also, this Quick Measure, Measure Totals, The Final Word should get you what you need:

Can you share the 2 measures inside the two matrix visuals ?

Are both coming from the same table?

Please share a sample or a screenshot of the table structure.

Hi @khaledHabib90
yes the two measures from same table, the first one is the costs which I want to divide by the total number of cases to get the average, and in the table, I have differnt costs for each case, thus I want the distinct count of those cases which showsn in matrix 2

Great, try this

Newmeasure = sumofcosts / calculate(distinctcount(ActNo), Keepfilters(all(days_from_scoring)))

Did my reply help you solve your problem? If yes please accept it as a solution 🙂

unfortunately, didn't work 😞

Try this,

Measure = SUM('YourTable'[Costs])/ CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT('YourTable'[ActNo]),ALL('YourTable'[days_from_scoring]))
