Divide combines denominator

Hello!

If I'm dividing two measures, I end up with a strange result. I have the following data:

Aanvraag nr (consider it a salesorder number)

Total send per aanvraag nr

Total used per aanvraag nr

Customer name (not included in the screenshot)

Contact person name (not included in the screenshot)

For the number send (verzonden) and used (gebruikt) I simply count the number of rows for the aanvraag nr and this returns the right value:

When I try to calculate the percentage (used/send), it combines the number of send vouchers per contactperson.

What should I do to avoid this? Clearly, 1 divided by 1 is not 0,07%. 1 divided by 1350 is tough.

Thanks!

It seems that your Vouchers table does not have a join with "Aanvraag nr" table. try to create one.

Try to put "Anatal verzonden vouchers" in the table and see the results.

Thanks for the help. The relationship itself can't be the isue, since all data originates from the same table. Reviewing this did help me find the solution tough, I had to use the aanvraagnr from the table were this number is the primary key.

Problem solved, thanks for the help 🙂
