Display slicer values based on AD group of logged in user

Hi,

Is it possible to control the slicer values based on the user AD group who is seeing the dashboard / report ?

UserA belongs to ADGroup_A
UserB belongs to ADGroup_B.

I have slicer called Department: 1,2,3,4,5....20.

When UserA logs in to the dashboard, he should see Dept1,2,3,4... all of them as a list.

But when UserB logs in, he should see only these two values: Dept1-10, Dept11-20.

I do not want to show each and every Department value to the UserB (or anyone who belong to ADGroup_B).

Thanks

Hi @Saniat ,
I think you can use RLS to achieve the solution.

Please refer the below link for more details:

Row-level security (RLS) with Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Thanks @KeyurPatel14  I had a look at the RLS, which perhaps is best for filtering data for role.

I also had a look at Object Level Security, using which I perhaps can hide the column from unwanted audience.

However, I am still looking for a solution where I can change the values of the column/slicer based on logged in user; or "use column A for Audience X, column B for Audience Y" as one slicer.
